Tat W. Yau, MD, MPH, MS, FAAP
Dr. Yau received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Loyola University New Orleans and a master’s degree in public health from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans (LSUHSC-NO). He earned a medical degree from LSUHSC-NO in 2017. He completed combined internal medicine-pediatrics residency and infectious diseases fellowship at LSUHSC-NO in 2021 and 2023 respectively, where he received residency choice award fellow of the year in 2023. He joined the faculty of the Section of Infectious Diseases, Department of Internal Medicine at LSUHSC-NO in July 2023. His clinical practice includes HIV primary care, HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), sexually transmitted diseases, and general infectious disease consult. He is originally from Hong Kong.
