John Bassler is the Clinical Database Manager for the Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is the Biostatistician Manager for the UAB CFAR’s Clinical Core and principal biostatistician for the UAB CFAR's Implementation and Community Sciences Core. Since June 2024, he has served on the Council for Emerging and New Statisticians (CENS), in collaboration with the International Biometric Society's (IBS) Eastern North Atlantic Region (ENAR). In addition to his full-time work, he is finishing his Doctorate of Public Health (DrPH) in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
