Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University
Philadelphia, PA, United States
Devin Weber first became interested in the field of Infectious Diseases as a medical student at West Virginia University- drawn to the interwoven elements of pathophysiology, microbiology, and pharmacology. She cemented her future as an ID clinician in her 4th year of medical school with a case of dissemimnated Aspergillosis. She pursued further training at The Ohio State University Department of Internal Medicine as a resident physician, where she had the fortune to do several ID electives and research projects with exceptional faculty mentors. Thereafter, she completed her fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Temple University in Philadelphia. She was grateful to learn from many wonderful patients and mentors there, each who expanded her understanding of the science and art of practicing Infectious Diseases. Dr. Weber currently works at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Weber loves all of ID, but has a particular clinical interest in neurologic and viral infections. She particularly enjoys mentoring trainees and cherishes her role as Program Director of the ID fellowship since 2020.
