I went to medical school at the Faculty of Medicine at the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. i did a residency in Internal Medicine at the Austin Medical Education Programs at Brackenridge Hospital, in Austin, TX and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at at the Loyola University Chicago Medical Center in Maywood, IL. I also completed an MPH through the University of Liverpool online programs. I served as an Assitant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Loyola University Chicago School of Medicine. Currently, am currently a parner with Metro Infectious Diseases Consultants, and I am based at Loyola MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL. I serve as their Medical Director of Infection Control and Antibiotic stewardshp. I also serve as an ID Faculty for their IM program . My main interests are Infection Control, Antibiotic Stewardship and Medical Education, although I am more focused on teaching ID to Internal Medicine residents.
