Chad Hinkle, MD is an Infectious Diseases Fellow at the University of Chicago Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and completed Internal Medicine residency at Boston Medical Center. He then stayed at Boston Medical Center to serve as a Chief resident for the Internal Medicine residency program. His research focuses on the impact of antimicrobials on the gut microbiome and how it affects patient outcomes. Additional interests include antimicrobial stewardship, especially within the outpatient setting, diagnostic stewardship, curriuculum development and medical education.
