Theo Yoder is a third-year medical student at the University of Colorado School of Medicine with a strong interest in infectious diseases and health equity. His research focuses on underserved populations, particularly people who inject drugs, and the unique barriers they face in accessing care. He has explored harm reduction strategies, innovative treatment approaches, and ways to improve outcomes for marginalized groups. His long-term goal is to integrate clinical practice, research, and public health to advance evidence-based, compassionate care and reduce disparities in infectious diseases among vulnerable communities.
