Sepideh Massoumi Alamouti is a highly accomplished computational microbiologist with over 17 years of experience in academic and industrial settings. She is an innovator in developing advanced computational platforms and data analysis models for the detection and identification of human pathogens. Since 2016, she has played a pivotal role in the design, development, and validation of the ONETestâ„¢ platform across a diverse range of bacterial, fungal and viral pathogens. Dr. Massoumi earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of British Columbia, supported by an NSERC scholarship. Her contributions to microbial and cancer genomics have led to over 20 publications in prestigious journals, including PNAS, Molecular Ecology, and Blood.
