Kastin Pan, MS, is a clinical research assistant in infectious diseases at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
She recently earned her Master of Science in Epidemiology degree at the Fielding School of Public Health at University of California, Los Angeles. Her thesis was focused on evaluating photo-based systems for estimating vaccination rates in resource-limited settings.

She holds a double-major in General Biology (BS) and Biological Anthropology (BA) from University of California, San Diego, where she developed an early interest in infectious disease and the impact of sociocultural and environmental factors on global health outcomes.
