I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Jamaica. I completed my medical training at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, located in the capital city of Kingston. I then undertook my internship at Cornwall Regional Hospital—the only Type A medical facility in Western Jamaica.
Following this, I pursued residency training in Internal Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center/Englewood Health in Englewood, New Jersey. I am currently completing a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
My professional interests include academic medicine, HIV/STI care, and general infectious diseases.
