Emily Rayens, PhD, MPH is a postdoctoral research fellow with Kaiser Permanente Southern California. Her research interests include infectious diseases and vaccine efficacy and safety.
Her doctoral work at the University of Georgia focused on furthering the antibody-based therapeutic options available for treating invasive fungal diseases, through development and evaluation of vaccine candidates and monoclonal antibodies. Dr. Rayens has also led several projects aimed at improving the current estimates of mycotic disease burden and patient outcomes in the United States through hospitalization and mortality reporting.
