My name is Matthew Sattler, MD, and I am an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. I serve as medical director of the St. Louis Children's Hospital Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and associate director of the pediatric infectious diseases fellowship program. I earned my BA in anthropology from Dartmouth College in 2014 and my medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in 2018. I completed my residency training in general pediatrics at the Baylor College of Medicine/Children's Hospital of San Antonio in 2021, served as Chief Resident the following academic year, and then completed my fellowship training in pediatric infectious diseases at Washington University in St. Louis/St. Louis Children's Hospital in 2025.
