Liz Chandler, PharmD, BCIDP, graduated from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy and completed her PGY1 and PGY2 Infectious Diseases residencies at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Since 2019, she has served at Lee Health as an Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Clinical Specialist, recently transitioning into her new role as a Pharmacy Manager- Antimicrobial Stewardship. Liz is Board Certified in Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy. Liz co-leads the System Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee, directs the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Residency Program, coordinates the Dose newsletter and the Lee Health Medical Writing Certificate, and precepts pharmacy students and residents. In her practice at Lee Health, she was honored with the Acute Care Preceptor of the Year award in 2023 and she contributes to the residency research and scholarly subcommittee, with publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her professional interests include antimicrobial stewardship, precepting, and research.
