Dr. Peyrani received her M.D. from the University of Buenos Aires, School of Medical Science where she completed a residency in Pediatrics. She moved to the US in 2003 where she started working as a clinical researcher in the Division of Infectious Diseases. She then completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases from the University of Louisville where she remained as an academic and attending physician until joining Pfizer in 2018. In that role she was the Director of Clinical Research responsible for company, investigator-initiated, and federally funded research within the Division of Infectious Diseases. She joined Pfizer in 2018, first working with the Vaccine Research and Development where she worked as the medical monitor of clinical trials among different vaccines. In 2020, she took the role of global medical affairs lead for the Pentavalent Meningococcal Vaccine and later she became the medical affairs lead for all meningoccocal vaccines. Currently, I serve as the US Medical Lead for Adult Pneumococcal Vaccines, where I lead regional strategy development, cross-functional collaboration, and evidence generation for PCV20 1. I also contribute to lifecycle management and public health implementation, aligning scientific and commercial goals to support licensure and access strategies.
