Dr. Meredith Lora is an Associate Professor whose research focuses on improving HIV prevention and care delivery through pragmatic, scalable interventions. Based at Grady Health System, she works closely with clinical and community partners to develop and evaluate strategies that support equitable access to HIV services.
Her work includes founding and developing the GHS PrEP program, which has served thousands of individuals in metro Atlanta accessing HIV prevention services. These programs emphasize EHR-integrated workflows, patient navigation, and sustainability in resource-constrained settings. Dr. Lora’s team has focused on improving on-time injection rates and retention in care, particularly among populations facing structural barriers.
Her current research explores predictive modeling to guide HIV testing and prevention, and the development of an EHR-integrated registry to support rapid linkage and early viral suppression. Dr. Lora is committed to translating research into practice and supporting health systems in scaling evidence-based approaches to HIV prevention.
