Marilyn Valentine MD, is an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Infectious Disease at the University of Utah in collaberation with Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah. She completed a pediatric infectious disease fellowship at the University of Utah during a global pandemic from 2020-2023. She practiced outpatient pediatrics at Intermountain Kidscare Pediatric Urgent Care from 2005-2020 and General Pediatrics for the University of Utah from 2003-2005. She completed residency at Univeristy of Nebraska/Creighton Combined Pediatric Residency in Omaha Nebraska 2000-2003 and graduated from University of Nebraska Medical College in 1999. She obtained her undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University where she managed neuroindocrineimmunology and physiology labs. Her interests include medical education for both those in training and those practicing primary care in the comminity in addition to antibiotic and diagnositc stewardship focusing on the outpatient setting.
