Dr. Adriana Rauseo obtained her medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Texas at Houston, and her infectious diseases fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, where she is now an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases. Dr. Rauseo co-directs the Invasive Mycoses Clinic, caring for both immunocompromised and immunocompetent patients with fungal infections, and she serves as an investigator in the Infectious Diseases Clinical Research Unit (IDCRU) leading multiple clinical trials of novel antifungals. Her research focuses on the diagnosis and management of invasive fungal infections, particularly dimorphic molds such as histoplasmosis, and she is an active member of the Mycoses Study Group Education and Research Consortium.
