Dr. Kociolek is an Attending Physician in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Vice President of System Preparedness, Prevention, and Response at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. He is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Kociolek serves as site PI for the HRSA-funded Pediatric Pandemic Network, and he has served as Principal Investigator of several NIH-funded translational research studies focused on the epidemiology and prevention of healthcare-associated and emerging infections in children, particularly C. difficile infection (CDI) and COVID-19.
