Dr. Gregory R. Madden is an Assistant Professor of Infectious Diseases and Clinician Scientist at the University of Virginia. He attended medical school at the University of Virginia and Internal Medicine residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. Following two years as an Academic Hospitalist at Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Dr. Madden returned to UVA to complete his Infectious Diseases fellowship and stayed as faculty. His academic interests include hospital epidemiology, diagnostic stewardship, and translating advances in data science and immunology to improve the management of healthcare associated infections.
