Jennifer O. Spicer, MD, MPH, MHPE is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She received a combined Medical Degree and Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory University in 2012. She completed her residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine followed by her Infectious Diseases fellowship at Emory University, after which she completed a master's degree in health professions education at the University of Illinois.
Her prior educational leadership roles have spanned the learner spectrum including medical students, residents, and fellows, and she he has received numerous teaching awards from learners and peers. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of Education within the Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado. Her research interests include curriculum development and evaluation, active learning techniques, and career development for medical educators.
