Becky DeCamillis is a physician assistant at Novant Health Infectious Disease Specialists in Winston-Salem, NC and APP Medical Director for the Acute Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Novant Health. Her background is in the clinical microbiology lab working in routine bacteriology, mycology, and mycobacteriology. After graduating from the Duke physician assistant program, she worked briefly in Family Medicine before coming home to inpatient ID where she's been for over 10 years. Her clinical interests include engaging provider groups with relevant stewardship education, optimizing points of intersection between the clinical lab and provider teams, and building the APP workforce in Infectious Disease. She lives in Winston-Salem with her husband and 2 young sons, and in her free time she finds plenty to do on their small farm.
