Adriana Gardner is a Global Health Fellow at the Purdue University School of Pharmacy. She attended the University of Southern California for undergrad where she double majored in biochemistry and environmental studies. For her PharmD she attended the University of California San Francisco. She then completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center and her PGY2 infectious diseases pharmacy residency from Huntington Hospital. As a Global Health Fellow, she is currently working on projects related to antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases education, and implementation of pharmacy expertise on an infectious diseases consult service at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret, Kenya. She also works on projects related to addressing health disparities in collaboration with faculty part of the Center for Health Excellence, Quality, and Innovation at the Purdue University School of Pharmacy. Her interests include antimicrobial stewardship, HIV, health equity, global health, and climate change and health.
