Dr. Inagaki is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Michigan. He earned his medical degree from the Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly Tokyo Medical and Dental University) in Japan. Following his initial pediatric training in Japan and the US, he pursued a pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In 2015, Dr. Inagaki joined the University of Mississippi Medical Center as the director of the Pediatric and Perinatal HIV Program and the state consultant for pediatric HIV. Since 2020, he has served as the director of Pediatric Transplant Infectious Diseases at the University of Michigan. He served as an Associate Editor for JPIDS, and he currently serves on the Editorial Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Inagaki is the PIDS Vice-Chair Elect for IDWeek 2025.
