Dr. Jenell Stewart is an Infectious Diseases Physician-Scientist at Hennepin Healthcare and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Stewart completed her clinical training in Internal Medicine, Global Health, and Infectious Diseases at University of Washington. Bringing together research methods on clinical trials, adherence behavior, and community co-design, Dr. Stewart’s current research focuses on doxycycline post-exposure prophylaxis for prevention of bacterial STIs among people who were assigned female sex at birth, community-based care models for women who use drugs, and strengthening impact of HIV PrEP through improved access to a variety of methods.
