Dr. Anna Sick-Samuels is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and an Associate Hospital Epidemiologist in the Department of Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Sick-Samuels conducts research to develop effective strategies to prevent healthcare-associated infections and multidrug-resistant infections in children. She is investigating how diagnostic stewardship of microbiology testing can optimize testing, treatment and quality of care for hospitalized children.
