Dr. Goldman is an Infectious Disease physician, Epidemiologist and Clinical Researcher with a focus on infections in immunocompromised hosts. He has predominant expertise in solid organ transplant patients, with interest in other settings such as HIV and cancer populations. He trained at Duke University, the University of Pennsylvania and University of Washington. Dr. Goldman currently works at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA and is appointed as Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington and an Affiliate Investigator at Fred Hutch. Research areas of focus include infections in solid organ transplant recipients, and viral infections such as SARS-CoV-2, herpesviruses, hepatitis viruses and HIV. Collaborative approach to research including clinical and translational trials in virology, including SARS-CoV-2, CMV and HCV.
