Dr. Gibly is a fellowship-trained and board-certified pediatric orthopaedic surgeon with an academic background in biomedical engineering. His medical and doctorate degrees were completed at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He underwent orthopaedic surgery residency training in Seattle at the University of Washington, Harborview Medical Center, and Seattle Children's Hospital. He then pursued additional subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at the University of Colorado and Children's Hospital of Colorado. His clinical interests include limb deformities (leg length, and alignment differences), congenital limb differences, skeletal dysplasias, fractures and their complications, clubfoot, hip dysplasia and other general pediatric orthopaedic issues. Dr. Gibly’s research involves understanding better ways to diagnose and treat pediatric musculoskeletal infections, understanding what makes pediatric fractures heal differently than adult fractures, and finding new ways to help heal musculoskeletal tissues using regenerative and tissue engineering technologies.
