Dr. Li is an attending physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Center for Quality and Safety at Lurie Children's Hospital. As the division QI director, she oversees intra- and inter-divisional quality improvement projects related to infectious diseases at Lurie. She completed dual fellowships in pediatric Infectious Diseases and Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety, and she earned her Master's in Healthcare Quality and Safety from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Li leads dignostic stewardship efforts at Lurie in her role as the co-chair of the laboratory stewardship committee, and she serves as a member of the IDSA Quality Measurement & Improvement Subcommittee. She takes a particular interest in medical education, serving as the ID trainee rotation education director, teaching QI data analysis as part of the Center for Quality and Safety educational offerings, optimizing quality and safety education for ID fellows, and mentoring QI work.
