Dr. Shively is an Infectious Diseases physician at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA, where he serves as Medical Director of the Tele-Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and helps lead expansion of ASP services through the new Outpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. His research interests include understanding antibiotic utilization and the effective implementation of stewardship interventions in less established settings, including outpatient primary care, community hospitals, and via Tele-Antimicrobial Stewardship. Dr. Shively was Co-Chair of the SHEA Spring Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate Track from 2022-2024.
