Jason Cummins, MPH

Jason is entering his 21st year in public health, 17 of which have been with the Tennessee Department of Health Tuberculosis Elimination Program. He currently serves as the program's director, but began his career with the program as an epidemiologist. Jason is an active member of the National Coalition of America (NTCA), where he has served as secretary, president-elect, and current president. He is also active in the Society for Epidemiology in TB Control (SETC), which is a section within NTCA. He was an executive member of SETC for four years, serving as secretary, president-elect, president, and immediate past president. His professional passions include genotyping, patient safety, advocacy, mental health, and health equity.
