Audrey Lloyd is an Assistant Professor in the Divisions of Adult and Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is board certified in Internal medicine, Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases, and Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Her research focuses on improving our understanding of the Hepatitis C epidemics among pregnant women in the Deep South and improving access to care for marginalized populations. In her clinical work Dr. Lloyd has provided specialty HIV care to children and adults living with HIV at the UAB Family Clinic, and primary and specialized HIV and addiction care to adults living with HIV at UAB's 1917 Clinic. Dr. Lloyd also cares for adults living with hepatitis C and hepatitis B at UAB’s ID ABC Hepatitis Clinic where she is working to improve linkage and care outcomes for patients with hepatitis C and substance use disorder.
