Julie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Purdue University and her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University. She is certified by the Amercian Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist and licensed as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse in Louisiana. Prior to joining the Infectious Disease and Pulmonary Research team in 2017 she worked as both an RN and CNS in various roles on transplant and medical-surgical units at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans since 2001. Since joining the research team, she has worked as a Sub-Investigator on multiple clinical trials within Infectious Disease supporting the Prinicipal Investigator to manage the trials.
