Dr. Touzard Romo is an adult Infectious Diseases Specialist at Brown University Health and Associate Professor of Medicine at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is the Medical Director of Infection Control and Antibiotic Stewardship at Newport Hospital in Rhode Island and her research focus is on diagnostic stewardship for hospital acquired infections and prosthetic joint infections. She is co-chair of the RI Department of Health Antimicrobial Stewardship and Environmental Cleaning Task Force and a member of the SHEA Diagnostic Stewardship Special Interest Group.
