Dr. Kelley is Professor of Medicine at Emory University in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Associate Dean for Research, Emory at Grady. Dr. Kelley has a multi-disciplinary background in clinical HIV/STI medicine, HIV/STI epidemiology and clinical research, and laboratory-based research. She practices at the Grady Ponce de Leon Center, a large Ryan White funded HIV clinic, and at Grady Memorial Hospital. The primary focus of her research is HIV/STI prevention and mucosal HIV susceptibility in sexual and gender minority populations with a particular interest in biomedical prevention interventions, and she is privileged to mentor junior HIV/STI prevention investigators. Dr. Kelley serves as co-Director for the Emory Center for AIDS Research, co-Principal Investigator for the Emory HIV/AIDS Clinical Trials Unit, and is active in PrEP implementation science in Atlanta. She currently serves as chair for the HIV Medical Association where she enjoys advocating for patients at risk for and living with HIV, their families, and their clinical providers.
