Dr. Alexandra 'Sasha' Kershteyn DO is a third year internal medicine resident at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. She received a bachelor's of science in biochemistry from Georgia Tech and went on to receive her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, GA. Her clinical interests include HIV and social disparities in healthcare. Her own independent research focuses on how municipal and social factors could influence ESBL infections in the community. In her free time, she enjoys biking, rock climbing, and indulging in fresh treats from Atlanta's many bakeries. She looks forward to meeting like minded individuals and future colleagues at ID Week with whom she can develop new insight in infectious disease.
