I am a third-year Internal Medicine resident in the Montefiore Primary Care and Social Internal Medicine program. As a member of Montefiore’s recently formed Environmental Committee, I work alongside colleagues to study and reduce healthcare-associated emissions moving towards a more sustainable healthcare system. I am particularly interested in a career in Infectious Diseases that integrates public health and environmental stewardship, with a focus on the intersection of climate change, health equity, and infectious disease prevention.
