Felice C. Adler, M.D., is a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and practices Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California where she is also the Director of Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship. She also serves as the liaison between the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at her pediatric safety net hospital and the Tuberculosis Control Program for the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health.
After completing her undergraduate studies at Duke University, she earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Following medical school, she completed her internship and residency training at the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at The University of California, Irvine and Miller Children's Hospital.
Her research contributions to the field of Pediatric Infectious Diseases include significant work in fungal infections, aseptic meningitis, pharmacokinetics, tuberculosis, and nontuberculous mycobacteria infections. She currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society and an Assistant Editor for the Journal of Clinical Tuberculosis and Other Mycobacterial Diseases.
