Dr. Robin L. Beach, PhD, FNP-C, AACRN, FAANP, is a distinguished nurse practitioner and educator based in Houston, Texas. She specializes in HIV care, providing comprehensive treatment to adults and pregnant individuals living with HIV, as well as preventive services for those at risk of HIV and other STIs .
Dr. Beach serves as a professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and holds an adjunct faculty position at the Cizik School of Nursing. She is actively involved in clinical practice at UT Physicians Multispecialty – Bellaire Station and the UT Physicians Obstetrics and Gynecology Continuity Clinic, where she also mentors medical students, residents, and nurse practitioner students .
Her academic credentials include a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Medical Branch and a PhD in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Beach has been a steadfast provider of HIV care in the Houston community.
Beyond her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Beach is committed to global health, volunteering annually to deliver free medical care in rural Guatemala for the last 20 years . She also contributes to the broader nursing community through her service as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care, with her term extending through November 2026.
In recognition of her dedication and impact, Dr. Beach was recently honored in the Houston Chronicle’s 2025 “Salute to Nurses,” a testament to her lifelong commitment to compassionate and expert nursing care.
