Dr Fareed Khawaja, MBBS is an Associate Professor with the Department of Infectious Diseases, Infection Control and Employee Health at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Much of his research career has focused on the prevention and treatment of infections in immunocompromised patients, with emphasis on viral infections in patients with hematologic malignancies and recipients of cellular therapy.
