My name is Takako Suzuki, MD, PhD, and I am an Assistant Professor at the Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan. My specialty is pediatric infectious diseases, and my research focuses on encephalitis/encephalopathy, mother-to-child transmission of infections (e.g., CMV, HBV, HCV), and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infections, including chronic active EBV infection and EBV-associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis. I utilize next-generation sequencing and single-cell transcriptomic analysis in my infectious disease research. I am very excited to attend IDWeek 2025 and look forward to engaging with colleagues from around the world.
