Dr. Hussen is an Assistant Professor in the Schools of Public Health (Hubert Department of Global Health) and Medicine (Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases) at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Due to her longstanding interest in adolescent HIV care, she completed residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics prior to specializing in adult infectious diseases. Her current position combines research and practice that focus on improving HIV care outcomes and overall well-being for youth who are living with HIV.
