Alice Margulis Landayan, Pharm.D., BCIDP joined Baptist Health South Miami Hospital in 2019, where she currently serves as a Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator and PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director, in addition to being the Residency Program Coordinator for the PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency at Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF) – Clinical Pharmacy Enterprise. Dr. Margulis Landayan received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University in 2017. Following graduation, she completed a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Lakeland Regional Health, followed by a PGY-2 Infectious Diseases pharmacy residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She serves as the lead for the South Miami Hospital Residency Advisory Committee and co-lead of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Committee. As a current clinical preceptor for Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy and University of Puerto Rico School of Pharmacy, she precepts pharmacy students in addition to PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents. Her practice includes evaluating and intervening on antimicrobial utilization, rounding with a multidisciplinary Infectious Diseases team, and developing antimicrobial stewardship initiatives at a local and system-wide level. Her practice interests include antimicrobial resistance, antibiotic allergies, and resident development. She enjoys spending time with her family (including two dogs) and friends, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
