Andrea Chin is a fourth-year Pharm.D. Candidate at the Oregon State University/Oregon Health and Science University College of Pharmacy. Her long-standing interest in infectious diseases is rooted in her laboratory research on cytomegalovirus prior to pharmacy school. This experience instilled the importance of translating scientific discovery to advancing clinical practice. She is looking forward to developing her clinical expertise in infectious disease and collaborating with interprofessional teams during her upcoming rotation with the OHSU and Portland VA Antimicrobial Management and Infectious Disease consult service. Following graduation, Andrea plans to pursue a PGY-1 pharmacy residency and continuing with additional training in a clinical pharmacy specialty.
