Madison Stellfox is an assistant professor and physician-scientist in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her PhD in biochemistry and molecular genetics at the University of Virginia, and then went on to obtain her MD from New York Medical College. After medical school, she trained in internal medicine and infectious diseases at UPMC before joining the faculty there in early 2025. Her research currently focuses on bacterial adaptations during recurrent infections, antibiotic tolerance and clinical bacteriophage therapy.
