Extensive experience in antibacterial drug development including participation and contribution to industry-academic-regulatory partnerships for the development of endpoints and noninferiority margins for various indications (e.g CABP, ABSSSI, HABP/VABP). Lead contributor to the development of endpoints and NI margin for the indication of DFI (while working at Cerexa, Inc) which was accepted by the US FDA. Successful marketing applications include doripenem (cUTI and cIAI), ceftaroline (ABSSSI and CABP) and CAZ-AVI (cUTI and cIAI).
Currently working on the development of various new antibacterials at Wockhardt, Inc, Mumbai, India for cUTI and HABP/VABP, among others.
