Richard Lueking, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he also serves as Co-Medical Director of the System Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. A graduate of Texas A&M College of Medicine, he completed his internal medicine residency at MUSC and an infectious diseases fellowship at UT Southwestern, where he served as Chief Fellow. His academic interests include antimicrobial stewardship, medical education, and global health, with ongoing collaborative work in Tanzania.
