David Canaday, MD is an Infectious Disease physician at the Cleveland VA Hospital and a Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He attended University of Pennsylvania for undergraduate studies, the Washington University School of Medicine for his medical agree. He did Internal Medicine residency at the University of Minnesota and Infectious Disease fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland Case Western Reserve University program. He is also the Associate Director of Research, Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center (GRECC) at the Cleveland VA. He has ongoing funding with CDC, NIH, VA, and industry. He lab focuses on aging immunology with a focus on vaccine immunology. His current vaccines studies focus on influenza, SARS-CoV-2, RSV, and shingles.
