I am currently serving as the Team Leader at the Gwangju Center for Infectious Diseases Control and Prevention, where I have been leading key projects on infectious disease prevention and control since 2020. I earned my Doctor of Health Science in Public Health from Chosun University in 2025, after completing my Master’s degree in Immunology in 2020 and my Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences in 2018 from the same university.
My academic background in immunology and public health has provided me with a strong foundation to address infectious disease challenges at both the research and policy levels. Before my current role, I worked as a Senior Researcher at Rock Biotech, focusing on skin immunological disorders, and as a Researcher at the Immunomechanism Laboratory at Chosun University, where I conducted fundamental studies in immunology.
In my current work, I focus on designing and implementing evidence-based public health interventions, especially for high-risk populations. I have led initiatives integrating rapid antibody testing with vaccination programs and fostering collaboration among local governments, healthcare providers, and academic institutions. Through my work, I aim to bridge scientific knowledge with practical public health strategies, ensuring sustainable and effective infectious disease prevention at the community level.
