I am Nirja Mehta, MD, MS Assistant Professor of Infectious Diseases at the Emory School of Medicine. My clinical and research work focuses on the role of the gut microbiome on infectious diseases, with particular interest in the gut microbiome. I provide FDA approved microbiome therapuetics through the Emory infectious diseases clinic to patients with recurrent Cloristrioides difficile and enroll patients in clinical trials evaluating novel microbiome therapies and study the role of the microbiome in a variety of clinical processes.
