Dr. Baden is the Director of the BWH/DFCI Infectious Diseases Immunocompromised Host consultative services and the Division’s Director of Clinical Research. Dr. Baden's research interests focus on vaccine development (including for HIV-1 and SARS-CoV-2) and the development of novel diagnostics and therapeutics for fungal and viral diseases that affect transplant and cancer patients disproportionately. He is the Program Director for the Clinical Trial Units of Harvard Catalyst at Harvard Medical School and Directs the Center for Clinical Investigation (CCI) at BWH.
