Jorge Salinas is a Hospital Epidemiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Stanford University. He previously served as Hospital Epidemiologist at the University of Iowa, and as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the Division for Tuberculosis Elimination at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He is interested in innovation and implementation in infection prevention, mobilizing expertise in microbial genomics, wastewater epidemiology, and artificial intelligence in the service of greater environmental sustainability and health equity for all.
